Hey it may seem shocking to you, that, why on earth would Anti-Virus Companies be making virus, but dear it may be true. See one of the most important things in the business of anti-virus software is trust rating, and they are enhanced by
1) Being the first one to know of the trouble.
2) First providing the solution.
3) Providing the best solution.
And that’s what precisely they can do if they make the virus and distribute it, coz they will know the root cause of the problem before anyone else do. It may be controversial, but then.......

Thats exactly what my mom said. She thought of this because naturally anit virus companies would do something like this to keep them in business

I recently got infected by the Antivirus Soft Trojan and, lo and behold, the first company advertised to be able to run a scan to detect it instantly is SpyDoctor, who ask you to buy a license before they can remove it. Not surprising, really, since they probably designed the virus to force you into a subscription. If you get hit by Antivirus Soft, you can remove it pretty easily by going onto bleepingcomputer.com and following the simple steps. It takes a while, but it's free.
SpyDoctor, suspiciously, is one of the only programs you can download and update while the virus stops you doing anything else.
